Yrrid Releases LOF 2.0

LOF 2.0 Released Today

Chapel Hill, NC.
September 30, 1999

Yrrid Incorporated today announced the release of its Legacy Objects Framework (LOF) version 2.0.

Niall Emmart, President of Yrrid, said: "LOF 2.0 solves one of the most difficult problems large enterprises face today. In order to leverage the web, enterprises need to integrate their legacy systems with the web. LOF 2.0 provides the solution, with all of the features that are critical to an enterprise IT manager." Christopher Lloyd, CTO of Yrrid, added: "LOF 2.0 is a huge improvement over LOF 1.2. It has a better architecture, wider appeal, and does more for you."

With LOF 2.0, mainframe application information can be easily manipulated from commonly used developer environments such as Visual Basic, Active Server Pages (ASP), COM, Java, and WebObjects. "Whichever client environment you choose, you can rapidly create a new user interface to your existing mainframe application , without making any changes in your legacy code," said Dan Flye, Product Manager at Yrrid.

In addition to the Legacy Modeler and the Legacy System (a mainframe simulator), LOF 2.0 also includes tutorials and examples. Visit Developer Resources for the latest documentation.
